We work with men ages 18 and over of all faiths and races who are seeking help with their life controlling problems. A man must be willing to participate and cooperate with the staff and other residents. He also must be open to changing his former life style by developing positive attitudes, behaviors and relationships.

Finances. Monterey Bay Teen Challenge is a non-profit organization that is supported by tax-deductible contributions from churches and individuals. Occasionally, we receive grants or donations from businesses and groups.

Drug Prevention. Monterey Bay Teen Challenge has gifted speakers who go to schools, churches, youth groups and community organizations to educate people to the reality of drug abuse. Men in the program give dynamic testimonies and share first hand experiences. The drug education seminars are given at no charge.

Success. Teen Challenge is one of the most successful programs in our nation. Dr. Kathrine Hess studied 216 drug programs in 1975 and found Teen Challenge to have the highest success at 86%. The next highest program was
21 %.

A more recent study (1995) showed Teen Challenge's success at 70%. God continues to work miracles through Teen Challenge.

Teen Challenge is funded by contributions. Those who need our help the most can least afford help. Please consider a donation to Teen Challenge. You can mail a check directly to Monterey Bay Teen Challenge P.O. Box 402 Watsonville, CA 95019 or Click here for online giving.
