Teen Challenge is a Christian organization which successfully works with people who have life-controlling problems and are without the necessary resources and opportunities to live productively. Using both residential and outreach programs, Teen Challenge is the oldest and largest private agency in America working in this field.

From the beginning this unique program has operated under the concept that a person with life controlling problems must be transformed physically, socially, psychologically and spiritually.

Founded in Brooklyn, New York, by David Wilkerson, Teen Challenge gained international fame through Mr. Wilkerson's first book, The Cross and the Switchblade.

Since our inception in 1958, Teen Challenge has grown to include more than 120 centers in 42 countries around the world. In the United States alone we help over 3,500 people daily.
